Eat to Live, Not Live to Eat

We are all familiar with the Food Pyramid that we grew up with. Unfortunately, that pyramid has failed most Americans by encouraging consumption of highly processed grain products and packaged foods that offer little nutritional value.  The Wellness Pyramid is a great guide to follow in your pursuit of optimal health.   It emphasizes proper amounts of exercise, and whole, unprocessed foods as its base.  Nutrition is not one-size-fits-all and many people have food allergies and other considerations that require personalized recommendations to accommodate their unique situation.  If you have specific questions, please do not hesitate to ask us!
