Movement is LIFE

Moving is a critical function of life.  Movement provides the body with information that is used to help us function and maintain homeostasis.  I am assuming that everyone has gone to the zoo.  But even if you have not I'm sure you can answer my question.  Is an animal in a zoo healthier or sicker then an animal in the wild?  My other question is: are humans animals?  If you answered that zoo animals are sicker and that humans are animals, then I'll ask are we sicker or healthier?  I would say we are sicker.  We as animals do not get nearly the amount of activity or movement that we are designed for.  The human body is designed to move.  At one time, we hunted and gathered to survive and if you couldn't do these things you would not live long.  Our athlete today would be an average person in that period.  Today, we are surrounded with ease and leisure.  We don't even have to leave the house for food we can just have it delivered.  Sitting is one of the worst things you can do to your body in general and specifically for your spine.  Siting increases the pressure on the spine and lack of movement reduces the proper feedback.  A study said that people sit an average of 10 hours a day (which I think could actually be more).  Comparatively, a human in a hunter/gatherer society sits an average of 2 hours a day.  What can we do to fight against this sickness?  A study found that if you walk for 30 minutes every day, you will increase your life by 5 years.  Get out and move.  Whatever you love doing, go do it.  One other very good option to combat lack of movement are adjustments.  An adjustment in its basic essence creates improved movement.  In order to move, you must live, but you must move to live.
